MOD Dwarf
Rugged, set up and ready for the stage. Open all the way down when you want to go further.
A complete rig in one pedal.
Build your own pedalboards from almost 400 plugins, patch them any way you can imagine, and play them on stage with no computer. For guitar, bass, synths, voice or drums.
Built to be played, hands free.
Once your pedalboards are built, everything happens at your feet. Four modes cover what you need on stage:
PedalboardsChange your entire setup on the fly.
SnapshotsSwitch instantly between variations of a pedalboard.
ControlsTweak any control, precisely and fast.
ToolsThe tuner and tempo, a footswitch away. What runs on it.
The Dwarf is the pedal; the plugins are what it becomes.
Every kind of effect.
Almost 400 plugins, from faithful classics to the gloriously strange: amps, drives, delays, reverbs, synths, loopers and sequencers. Most are free. Some come from independent brands in the MOD Plugin Shop, and new ones arrive all the time.

Real amps, one click away.
Neural Amp Modeler’s A2 architecture runs natively on the Dwarf, and the Tone3000 library, hundreds of thousands of captures and IRs, is a click away in the web interface. Or capture your own amp.

Or make your own.
Describe an effect to the AI assistant of your choice and the Plugin Cookbook guides it to a working plugin, or patch one in Pure Data or Max gen~, or code it in FAUST. The MOD Cloud Builder puts it on your pedal.
Build it on your computer. Play it on the pedal.
Pedalboards are made in the MOD web interface: easy enough to start in minutes, deep enough to keep you busy for years.

How far a pedalboard can go
Two complete sets, built for the Dwarf, show how much one pedalboard can hold:
Guitar Synth →Synthesizers you play straight from your guitar. No special pickup; bends, legato and harmonics are tracked; five setups ready to play.
Reverb →Rooms, halls, plates and springs, up to long convolution tails from your own impulse responses. In players’ hands
What people say.
“If you love software, if you love the imaginative and compositional choices it affords, at last hardware is embodying that same freedom. Few devices do that more elegantly than the MOD Dwarf.”
